Gabriel Arvelo is a composer, conductor, and music producer born and raised in the Dominican Republic. His journey into the world of music began at the age of 13 with the drums, where he developed many of the rhythmic skills that currently possess today, particularly in various Latin genres. At the age of 16, moved to the piano, which became the instrument where he felt most comfortable expressing his creativity. Arvelo’s exposure to a variety of genres, styles, and playing in church fueled his passion for composing original music. Coming from a place where music—its rhythms, dances, and singing—plays a crucial role in the culture, it remains very close to his heart.
